Classical Chinese Acupuncture is based on teachings that are over 3000 years old. According to the philosophy, energy or Qi, flows throughout the body via channels or meridians, which, if blocked or imbalanced can cause illness
Patient symptoms are, therefore, viewed as a reflection of underlying energetic imbalances. Acupuncture is used to restore the flow of energy to improve health
Before treatment, your complete health history is discussed and presenting symptoms are analysed and considered in relation to your energetic, physical, mental and emotional health. Acupuncture points are then selected according to your individual diagnosis. Treatment involves the shallow insertion of fine, sterile, single use acupuncture needles which remain in place, while you relax, for approximately twenty minutes.

Claire Tindall BSc (Hons), LicAc, MBAcC
Claire studied Classic Chinese Acupuncture for three years, gaining a BSc (Hons) degree from The University of Greenwich.
She holds a Licentiate of Acupuncture and is a member of The British Acupuncture Council. She has worked alongside one of the most experienced and well respected acupuncturists in the UK and is passionate about bringing the healing qualities of acupuncture to her patients.
